Goamama Coffee In Budapest

Sunday, May 29, 2016

I've known Goamama coffee place for ages as it's right next to - actually inside of - Goa Home, the interior shop at Kiraly utca, VII district. Always been in a kind of hurry or something that never had time to pop into the cáfe before a couple of days ago when decided to have a brainstorming there with my colleague and friend. Obviously the interior has the same style as the shop on the other side. Sort of rustic, industrial, trendy and cosy as well.
I liked the place - they had a nice variety of teas, gluten free cookies and wifi was working well.

Gazpacho

Thursday, July 30, 2015

I have a quick version of gazpacho!

All you need:
tomato, peeled cucumber and belly pepper wedges, a couple of garlic gloves, some chili - fresh or dried, sea salt & black pepper, a hint of olive oil. Put all ingredients into a blender, and you got gaspacho in a few seconds!

Made some of my favourite gluten-free cookies to go with this cold soup. This time I added some parmesan cheese and sun-dried tomatoes into it. You can find the recipe here!

Perfect lunch for a hot day!

Very minimalist!

Glutein Free Cheese Cookies

Tuesday, May 12, 2015

A friend of mine gave me a book full of delicious glutein free recipes. One of my favourites is this "cheese cookie" recipe. So easy & quick to make. Unfortunately they also disappear just as quickly...

All you need:

1,5 dl almond flour
3 eggs
60g butter
paprika or chili powder
225g grated Ceddar cheese
some coconut flour

Mix all the ingredients, and make about walnut size dumplings from it. Bake for about 15mins in 200C.

I have changed the amount of cheese & chili powder to make the cookies spicier, and left the coconut flour out as it made them too sweet.

Yummy!

Glutein free: Cauliflower Crust

Wednesday, February 25, 2015

I was craving for pizza the other day and found a perfect glutein free solution for that - cauliflower! The whole idea that you can take a cauliflower, rice it, cook it, mix it with egg & protein powder and spices, bake it into a pizza base is pretty amazing!

This is how I did my cauli crust:

1 small head of cauliflower
1 egg
3,5 spoonful of protein powder
2 gloves of garlic
black pepper & sea salt

First I grated (can be done in a food processor as well)the cauliflower to look almost like rice and steamed it for about 10mins (shouldn't be too soft & juice but rather al dente). Mixed it together with the other ingredients. Lined a baking sheet with parchment paper and pressed the cauli mixture onto it in a thin pizza shape.  Baked it in an oven (200C) for 15mins so that it got some golden colour.

Spreaded some tomato sauce, topped with cherry tomatoes and mozzarella, and baked in the oven for another 15mins. Seasoned with black pepper, sea salt and fresh basil.

Believe it or not - this is delicious!

Glutein-free

Friday, January 23, 2015

One of my favourite glutein-free products is quinoa, especially red quinoa. if you boil a bigger portion in the beginning of week you can add some of it to salads etc during the week. This warm kind of salad that I made last night is delicious and easy to prepair, and you can basically add anything to it. This time I made it with these ingredients:

garlic, mushrooms, belly peppers, spinach, mozzarella, broccoli and quinoa, and seasoned it with black pepper & sea salt and fresh basil.

2 gloves of garlic, yellow belly pepper, mushrooms & spinach...

...red quinoa...

...broccoli & mozzarella...
(I had some cooked broccoli in my fridge from the previous night)

... black pepper, sea salt & fresh basil.

Yummy!

Glutein Free

Wednesday, January 14, 2015

Nowadays it's not so difficult to find glutein-free products at shops.
My favourites are:
Lemon bebé

Crispy vegetable chips with oregano, basil and a hint of lemon by Terra.
(potatoe ones are, of course, glutein free as well, but just wanted to introduce these as they somehow feel a bit healthier...maybe.)

Fig & quinoa cookies by Organic Doves Farm.
