Nowadays it's not so difficult to find glutein-free products at shops. 

My favourites are:

Lemon bebé  

 Crispy vegetable chips with oregano, basil and a hint of lemon by Terra.

(potatoe ones are, of course, glutein free as well, but just wanted to introduce these as they somehow feel a bit healthier...maybe.) 

 Fig & quinoa cookies by Organic Doves Farm.

Nice girls' day out in sunny capital of Austria.

The weather was really hot,

so preferred sitting inside rather than on the terrace for lunch.

 The iconic Viennese dish:

Wiener Schnitzel with potato salad.

They really know how to make it at Cafe Landtmann

on Dr-Karl-Lueger-Ring 4 next to Burgtheater.

 Just as iconic: Sacher Torte.

The best Sacher cake is served at Sacher.

There are 3 places to get a slice of this cake at Sacher:

Sacher Cafe

- the biggest, always queue, classic syle

 Sacher Bistro 

- the newest one with the shop, 

rather small, bar tables, modern 

Sacher Stube

- small, hardly ever queue,

classic style

After queueing a while for the Bistro

gave up and walked into the Stube

for the slice of Sacher.

Warm Day

Had a good breakfast at the hotel

on Thursday morning:

fruit, cereals with soya milk, bagel with cream cheese,

orange juice & tea

- after that went for a walk at the shore
- the weather was a bit warmer, 55F,

but cloudy

A Day in Vienna

Had a nice day in Vienna with friends on Wednesday (the National Day in Hungary).

The train arrived to Vienna around 12.

First went for a lunch at Cafe Central

- trip to Vienna is not perfect without Sachertorte!

Franz Sacher invented the Sacher Cake in 1832.

It was sold right in the beginning at the shop of Hotel Sacher on Kärtner Strasse.

Different sizes of Sacher cakes are still sold at the same shop.

The weather was perfect for a city day. Not too warm, no rain.

Took the train back to Budapest at 5.52pm and arrived app. at 9pm.

Saw a glimpse of the fireworks next to Danube.
