Something sweet for the weekend!

This is one of the weirdest thing ever seen:

chocolate covered potato chips!

Did NOT buy them!

Sweet Days

 There was Chocolate & Sweets Festival in Budapest last weekend.

It's called "Edes Napok".

The happening was up in the Castle district.

 Best macarons in Budapest by CinnamonRoll.

The sea salt & caramel ones are fantastic!

Perfect T-shirt for a chocoholic!

Hot Hot Hot

As the temperature had risen up to 82F

needed a fresh ocean breeze The water felt so soft & luke warm - it was so wonderful just float with the waves . The beach in the evening - looks so different yet beautiful . Made a long walk in the evening, of course, before buying some Chinese take-away at Kims next door . Served on a charboard tray! - easy to carry home . Dessert Having 2 favourite chocolate brands: Fazer & Chirardelli - got a bit over-excited in that Chirardelli place... .

Finally had a chance to visit Villa Bagatelle

on Buda side,

thanks to Éva who recommended the place!

- it's a villa with coffee house downstairs

and home decoration shop upstairs

- not so special mixture:

chocolate bar with toffee walnut

was sensationally good!

Got several boxes of jelly bellies!

- they're given free on the streets of Stockholm

by the council & police department of Stockholm

- the idea was to tell the pedestrians

that also them have to take some responsibity of the traffic,
that they can't just jump to the streets when & where ever

- bought one and unfortunately
didn't feel so good after
eating a bite of it...

Thank you for your feed back, I have to tell you that I was really sad when I red your mail.
You should know that it is our 4th pastry, we make cake not only for our pastry
but for other confctionaries as well.
The quality is the most important thing for us, we use only the best materilas
(Carbo and Valrhona chocolate, milk from farm but only materials controlled.
Our chief confectioner is the board member of the Hungarian Pastry Syndicate.
Not only this are the reasons but we cannot allow us to make any cake from uncontrolled materials,
we do not allow to display in the counter and sell expired products.


Regarding the cup cake mentioned I have to tell you that:
- We always use only sterilized eggs
- On the same day we have made 85 muffins from the same egg white and there was no other feed back (we sell them on Saturday as well)
- The egg white made with sugar and before use we heat it, so there are two reasons wich makes more difficult to grow the bacterisa.
In any event we have called back the last 4 muffins yesterday and we asked the Ántsz to test them today.
I hope you will find other cakes in our confectionary wich will be more delicious and tasty for you.

Still visible remains of the World War II

in Vienna like in some other European cities

- they were too costy to demolish after the war

because of the huge amount of concrete and steel

-this one is used for an aquarium,

but there are several other ones without any use

The buffet breakfast at hotel was excellent,

so no need for a lunch,

had only an afternoon tea at ...
