Only a few drops left, so it's time to answer to: did it work as promised? It made the skin very soft, healthier-looking and relaxed. Unfortunately can't say that the wrinkles are vanished...

I bought ages ago these Finnish cosmetic products, and now after using them for a while I guess I'm ready to give my opinion on them. Lily Alexandra is an eco-cosmetic brand established in Finland in 2008. All the products are developed, tested and made in Finland, actually in a small town called Sipoo. They are all paraben-free and without any perfume. The products are for a mature skin, which needs more hydration and lifting. My arsenal includes cleansing gel, serum, 24-hour cream and eye contour cream.

Jo jokin aika sitten ostin näitä suomalaisia kosmetiikkatuotteita ja nyt kun olen niitä jo päässyt käyttämään, ajattelin esitellä ja kertoa niistä vähän tarkemmin. Lily Alexandra on suomalainen eko-kosmetiikkabrändi, joka on perustettu vuonna 2008. Kaikki tuotteet on kehitetty, testattu ja tuotettu Sipoossa. Tuotteet ovat parabeeni vapaita ja ilman hajusteita ja ne on suunnattu kypsemmälle enemmän kosteutta ja liftingiä kaipaavalle iholle. Omaan arsenaaliini kuuluvat sarjan puhdistusgeeli, seerumi, 24-tunnin voide ja silmänympärysvoide.

The eye contour cream

A light, easily absorbed cream to refresh, strengthen and soothe the delicate area around the eye. The active ingredient of green tea contains caffeine, C, B and vitamin E, as well as flavoinoides. Caffeine effectively removes fluid and tightens the skin. Antioxidants protect skin cells from air pollution and aging. If you've been sleeping poorly, or eaten salty food, this long-lasting product effectively removes swelling and dark circles under the eyes.

- it's definitely light and easily absorbing

- it feels slightly tightening the eye area

- unfortunately I did't notice any remarkable changes concerning the dark circles & fluids

24-hour cream

Luxury, long-lasting moisturizing face cream with vitamin E-containing wheat germ oil and effectively moisturizing and nourishing aloe vera. Vitamin E is one of the most popular anti-oxidants and wheat germ oil is the most abundant source of vitamin E. It helps to protect the skin from free radical damage and atmospheric pollution. This conditioning cream is also suitable under foundation.

Sometimes it's funny to buy something that you don't really know what it is. That happened to me when I saw these Japanese beauty products!

The white one is a moisturizing body mist by Shiseido. 

"A component of the 14 amino acids, such as collagen and natural water of Fuji, is a jelly supplements sense that gives a feeling of tension and moisture to the skin. 100% natural water use. Weakly acidic, no coloration and non-oily. Fragrance of a refreshing grapefruit."

A very pleasant product to spray over the body!

The pink one is a collagen mist for face by Hadamony.

Deep moisturizing mist with 1000mg of micro Collagen in one bottle. Convenient spray lotion is easy to use anytime anywhere. Slight natural aroma.

"Moisture retention formula. Micro collagen 1000mg, hyaluronic acid Na, honey, acerola extract."

Also a nice product!

Joskus on kiva kokeilla jotain aivan tavallisuudesta poikkeavaa. Eteeni nimittäin tuli pari japanilasita tuotetta joista en ollut kuullut mitään etukäteen. 

Valkoinen puteli on Shiseidon kosteuttava vartalosuihke ja pinkki puolestaan kasvoille suihkutettava kollageenituote.

Miellyttävän tuntuisia molemmat!

No Make-Up

I've been without make-up for several days now... reason for that is  a strong allergic reaction. For what? No idea! My face started to become red and itchy, then the neck and ears, for couple of days my eye lids were like balloons. First I got pretty strong tablets against allergy from the pharmacy. They seemed to help but as soon as I finished taking them the symptoms came back. Needed to book an appointment to see a doctor. This time I got super strong tablets which will for sure make the symtoms go away. After two days the face feels better, the skin is still quite red and rough, but the itchiness has disappeared. 

 

First I applied some facial oil with vitamin E for my face, but then I discovered Avéne's soothing eye contour cream which can be applied for the upper lid as well and Lumene's SOS cream is a real saver! It's formulated by using skin calming technology.

I won't put any make-up on my face yet, will wait a couple of more days to see how the situation evolves. 

I'm not an allergic person normally. I don't have hay fever, I can be in the same room with cats and dogs, I can eat anything etc. This kind of reactions are very difficult to diagnose, almost anything can cause them. The only thing is to get rid of the symptoms by taking medicine and hope that it won't come back.   

SPA-tacular

 Bliss has this Ex-'Glow'-sion! vitabead-infused moisture cream with oxygen and micro-algae. 

It says that they have poured Bliss Triple Oxygen Facial into this jar, so you'll get spa-worthy results at home. Been to this facial a couple of times and that treatment is amazing. The skin feels and looks so good afterwards.

There're also vitamin C & E added into the cream.

Looks like strawberry whipped cream...

This is for both day & night cream for face & neck. To help stimulate circulation it's good to massage in small circular motions for at least 30 seconds.

The foamy texture makes it easy to apply and spread all over face and neck. It absorbs quickly but I like to wait a couple of minutes before applying my CC cream onto it.

Serum 10

Been using this serum for a couple of weeks now under my night cream. Just 3 drops is enough. It's a clear serum which absorbs easily into skin and makes it feel soft. There's a wide variety of V10 Serums - the blue one is hyaluronic acid, which deep-hydrates and firms the skin.

I have stopped believing in miracles in skin care - nothing makes wonders, but like in this case the feel-good factor is pretty high as my skin feels so smooth in the mornings nowadays.

Chanel For The Weekend

Exactly what my feet need - warm and thick enough socks! 

Got an absolutely lovely present from my brother's girlfriend. She had knitted a pair of cosy socks, and with them was a bottle of Le Weekend de Chanel! 

What is Le Weekend de Chanel?

It's a lotion for face that enhances renewal and replenishes hydration to give skin a must-needed weekend break. Combined with relaxing Rose Water, a gentle Glycolic Acid Complex is gradually released for ideal exfoliation and lasting moisture. Skin is softer and more luminous for the week ahead.

It's recommended to use twice a day - morning & night - for 2 days (Saturday & Sunday), not more than that.

After testing it for 2 weekends I can say that it kept its promises! The skin feels soft and looks healthy & rested. Didn't need to apply any other moisturizer during the weekend, even though my skin is rather dry and reacts easily if not moisturized well enough.

This is a real luxury product! 

Epiphany on January 6th is a day-off in many countries but not in Hungary. . . so no time to relax and read a book on the sofa for me:(
