Blue Dream

I tried to make a picture of "Blue Dream" by using 2 photos and processing them in Photoshop. 

In the first one I took a photo of my bedroom and another one of some feathers. Then I flatted them into one, made the upper one more transparent or lucid and change the colour scheme into blue.  

I did similar image processing with the other picture below. Just added stronger shades of blue to it. 

Kind of artistic - or not...

Crochet Granny Square Patterns

Look, what i've been doing - crochet patterns!

It's fun & relaxing!

The only thing is, of course, what to do with them and where to put them... Well, if the colour combinations are fitting to the home decor why not make a couple of cushions to boost your couch or bed? That's what I did!

Coffee Table

Saw this rustic table with wheels in a shopping mall - would be a perfect coffee table, wouldn't it?

(And probably not too difficult to make it yourself, or...?)

Beading

I made it myself! 

I know these look more like a child had made them, but I'm so proud I finally could do something like these. For years I've been collecting different kinds of bead all over the world, but not yet succeeded to make anything out of them since now. Have to admit I needed to take some classes to learn how to make them step by step. "Intro to beading" was absolutely useful for me!

It's not just the beads you need, a variety of different tools is essential.

 Pliers for wire looping. Round nose & flat nose pliers.

 Pliers for crimping and cutters for wire cutting.

 Beading board is a great help.

 Findings: caps, cones, crimps, clasps, crimp tubes, cord ends... the list is endless.

 Glass beads.

 Time to start beading...

Design-wise far from perfect. But the idea was to learn the technique and after that I can concentrate the designs.

So beware, probably everyone I know will get one self-made piece of jewelry for present for xmas, birthday...
