Intense Color Sensuously Mat Lip Color

As I was upgraded to Rouge level on Sephora's Very Important Beauty Buyer's program, I received free make-up sessions at any Sephora in the States. I chose the one on Fifth Avenue in NYC and booked appointment for Jeremy. Usually I only wear CC cream, beige eye shadow, black mascara and lipgloss or bright red lipstick for every occasion. My wish was to get a make-over as natural as possible. It took some time to make it all happen. . .  My favorite parts after the session were the new brows and lips. Mine are really narrow ones, and now I got new bold ones of both brows and lips. The color of the lipstick was something I wouldn't have chosen - so brownish and dark. But it really worked! And looked so natural! 

The lipstick has a lot of pigments and the color is intense, but it was applied without a lip liner, just with a brush.

I had the make-up done in the late morning and lasted the whole day including a heavy shopping-spree (selfies taken in a changing room…)and dinner at night.

Bite Beauty

Became a VIB Rouge member at Sephora, and got a limited edition shade of Bite's lipstick in bright red. Bite is an edible all-natural lip care brand from Toronto. The lipsticks are even gluten free. 

While in New York wanted to visit Bite Lip Lab on Prince Street in SoHo but unfortunately  didn't succeed - it was closed on Mondays and then it was closed for a private event... anyway, I already got my VIB Rouge lipstick and took some pics outside of this interesting store.

Going Nude

 Read on Linda's blog about this new nude lipstick and of course, I had to be a copycat and went & bought it straight away...

 The lipstick is from the new MAC Mineralize collection and 

it's hydrating the lips as well as it's easy to apply.

 I went to MAC store without any make up... 

The sales assistant asked me if I'd like to try the lipstick 

to see how it looks on me - great idea 

but without any other make up on it would't look good

 so i refused. 

She said she could add some hydrating powder, 

a hint of blush and mascara on me before the lipstick.

Oh, after that the nude shade looked perfect!

And so did the blush in natural shade.

Raspberry Miracle

Decided to be a lipstick girl for now on!

 Bought some new lipsticks.

Raspberry Miracle is a new lipcolour collection of Lumene.   

04 Heather Day is a fruity dark pink colour.

06 So Berry is a delicious bright red one.

There are altogether 8 beautiful matt shades.

The colour stays really well for a long time.
