Sakura - Enchanted Garden

Tuesday, April 12, 2016

Now it's going to be a loads of pics of blooming branches! There's been a Sakura happening at ELTE Botanicus Kert (botanical garden of the Univercity) in Budapest. The weather's been so sunny and warm for the whole week, but during the weekend it's been cloudy and partly rainy as well. Actually it didn't matter at all - now the garden felt so fresh. Here are only a part of the photos I took there - got totally enchanted with all those colours.

Went there in the morning and there were already plenty of people who all looked so happy and delighted by beautiful flowers and blooming trees. It's amazing how strong effect gorgeous gardens have on human beings. They make us smile and feeling happy.

"The many great gardens of the worls, of literature and poetry, of painting and music, of religion and architecture, all make the point as clear as possible: The soul cannot thrive in the absence of a garden. If you don't want paradise, you are not human; and if you are not human, you don't have a soul."

Blooming Branches

Tuesday, March 22, 2016

The task was to shot Halltex panels to show the texture and color of the different panels, and show them in another surrondings than usually. Somehow I got so fascinated by the delicate blooming branches than I found in the nearby park (yes, I did cut with clippers a branch or two out there - sorry!). I have no idea what is the name of this bush. It's one of the first spring-flowering ones and the scent is absolutely gorgeous. So anyway, here're a few pics of those branches.

Here you can see more of the Halltex panel ans its texture.

Sunny Sunday

Sunday, February 23, 2014

Last Sunday had a long nice walk in Regent's Park in London. The weather couldn't have been better, and it seemed like everything was blooming there. Simply beautiful.

The park has an outer ring road called outer Circle (4,3km_ and an inner ring road called the Inner Circle, which surrounds the most carefully tended section of the park, Queen Mary's Gardens. The south, east and most of the west side od the park is lined with elegant white stucco terraces of houses design by John Nash. There's Regen't Canal in the northern end of the park.

Later that afternoon had an early dinner at Mr Kong in Chinatown.

Have a sunny Sunday!
