This is the time of the year when everyone is suffering from a flu. If you're a lucky one and not yet caught it, perhaps you can avoid it totally with this this green smoothie.
By picking up the right ingredients for your morning smoothie you will improve your immune system. Fresh ginger has incrediable health benefits (btw, I add it to everywhere!). Having ginger in your diet helps decrease inflamations, improve digestion and your body gets rid of toxins in a natural way. It can also reduce period pain. Ginger is a sort of natural ibuprofen: strenghtens the immune system and works as inflamation preventative.
In this green smoothie there're also spinach (lot of iron), cinnamon (lot of antioxidants) and cardamom (detoxifying).
Green Banana Spice Smoothie
3 cups spinach
3 cups coconut milk
1 banana
fresh ginger
1/2 tsp cinnamon powder
1/2 tsp cardomom
Mix spinach and coconut milk in a blender. Add banana, ginger, cinnamon and cardamom and blend until smooth.
Enjoy!

Valitsemalla oikeanlaiset raaka-aineet aamu-smoothieesi parannat vastustuskykyäsi. Tuoreella inkiväärillä on uskomattomia terveysvaikutuksia (lisään sitä lähes joka ruokaan!. Inkivääri vähentää tulehduksia, parantaa ruoansulatusta ja poistaa elimistöstä myrkkyjä luonnollisella tavalla. Se lisäksi lieventää kuukautiskipuja. Inkivääri toimii jonkin sorttisena luonnollisena ibuprofeiinina, sillä se vahvistaa vastustuskykyä ja estää tulehduksia.
Tässä vihersmoothiessa on lisäksi pinaattia (paljon rautaa), kanelia (paljon antioksidantteja) sekä kardemummaa (poistaa kuona-aineita).
Green Banana Spice Smoothie
3 dl pinaattia
3 dl kookosmaitoa
1 banaani
tuoretta inkivääriä
1/2 tl kanelijauhetta
1/2 tl kardemummaa
Sekoita pinaatti ja kookosmaito tehosekoittimessa. Lisää banaani, inkivääri, kaneli ja kardemumma ja sekoita tasaiseksi.
