Sunday, September 8, 2013

 Big news!
Tom Ford has arrived to Budapest!

Il Bacio di Stile, a new luxury department store on Andrássy út, will be open for public on Monday.
There're collections from Lanvin, Bottega Veneta, Valentino... altogether more than 40 different brands in 5.000m2 - wow!

The shop windows look promising...

The construction of the present Andrássy Avenue (before called Sugár street), registered as part of the world heritage, began 1876-1877 and within ten years most of the houses were completed. The eclectic apartment house No. 19 on the corner of the Andrássy Avenue and the Székely Mihály street was built in 1881as a part of the first section the Sugár street to the Octogon. The three-floor building with inner court, planed from Vilmos Freund, is structurally and formally a representative piece. This national monument was built for the middle class, the ornaments and details were formed accordinglyThe couple of sculpture over the entrance, the high reliefs by the archcorners and the couple of puttos over the wall openings with arches has a highest importance.

So tomorrow is the day when this door will be open...

 Gap is finally in Hungary!
The store was opened at Westend shopping mall in Budapest on Wednesday night.

I love cotton and casual, and that's what Gap is all about.

The store is pretty spacious having women's, men's and kids' wear.
