I don't think I can ever get enough of these gorgeous magnolias. Every spring I have to go to the garden of Kogart on Andrassy út, Budapest, and see these magnolias, and take a couple of snapshots. There are trees with pale pink and dark pink flowers. The first magnolias I ever seen were ages ago in London, and the month was February, I guess. Since then I've been so fascinated by their beauty.

Joka kevät täytyy piipahtaa Andrassy útin Kogartin pihalla ihailemassa niitä ja napsasta pari kuvaa.Kukkia löytyy kalpeasta vaaleanpunaisesta tummaan pinkkiin. Ensimmäisen kerran näin magnolioita Lontoossa vuosikausia (oikeammin vuosikymmeniä) sitten, vuodenaika taisi olla helmikuu. Siitä asti olen täysin lumoutunut niiden kauneudesta.

Magnolia is named after French botanist Pierre Magnol.
