Viime aikoina on paljon puhuttu siitä voiko laatukosmetiikkaa saada halvalla ja esiin on noussut juuri Lidlin superedulliset kosmetiikkatuotteet. Kerroin jo aikaisemmin kuinka olin Lidlin järkkäämässä ihonhoito ja meikkaustapahtumassa aikaisemmin keväällä ja että sain sieltä kotiin vietäväksi pussillisen Cien-kosmetiikkaa.
Ihan kaikkea en saanut Lidlin tapahtumasta lahjaksi, vaan olen ihan itse ostanut - ripsiväri ja bb-voide ovat omasta kukkarosta pulitettuja tuotteita. Lähdetäänkin arvioimaan ensin niitä.

One of the topics concerning cosmetics and beauty products has recently been the question if it's possible to get quality cosmetics with low price tag. The German, mainly grocery store, Lidl has launced super cheap beauty products which have won many blind tests.
I mentioned some time earlier how I participated a skincare workshop organized by Lidl, and that I recieved a goody bag with Cien by Lidl cosmetics. The bag didn't contain all these shown products - bought them with my own money. Here's a short review of those products.
Cien waterproof Mascara (musta)
Olen iät ja ajat käyttänyt tuuheuttavia ja pidentäviä ripsareita, jotka tekevät ripsistä melko tönkköisiä, joten aluksi tuntui ettei tämä maskara riitä mihinkään, mutta tulin kyllä melko pian toisiin ajatuksiin.
Aivan ihanaa, että saa luonnollisen näköiset ripset, joissa kuitenkin on tehokkasti väriä. En tiedä johtuuko ihotyypistäni vai käyttämistäni silmänympärysvoiteista, mutta lähes aina ripsarit karisevat alaluomelle. Näin ei kuitenkaan käynyt tämän vedenkestävän ripsivärin kanssa. Ihan pelkällä vedellä se ei siis lähde ripsistä, mutta värin sai helposti ja hellävaraisesti putsattua misellivedellä.

Cien Waterproof Mascara in black
I have used for ages thickening & lenghtening mascaras, which make lashes quite messy. So my first reaction was that there's not enough colour in this one, but how wrong I was.
It's wonderful to have natural looking lashes with intensive black colour. I'm not sure if it's because of my skintype or those eye couture creams that I'm using, but almost always I find traces of mascara under my eyes during the day. This didn't happen with Cien waterproof mascara. Can't get rid of it with just plain water but very easily & gently with miscelle water.

All-in-one Blemish Balm Cream
Valitsin kahdesta sävystä vaaleamman kun kasvojen iho näin talven jäljiltä on todella kalpea. Koostumus vaikutti heti miellyttävältä sormissa, mutta kasvoille levitettäessä jotenkin liian kuivalta suoraan iholle eikä se myöskään levittynyt kovin tasaisesti. Seuraavalla kerralla lisäsin alle pari tippaa Lumenen kasvoöljyä ja tulos oli heti parempi.
Vaalea sävy on todella vaalea myös tällaiselle härmäläiselle kalpeanassulle, joten kesäksi varmasti se tummempi sävy on parempi valinta. Plussaa tulee UVA-suojasta (joka siis suojaa ihoa auringon vanhentavalta vaikutukselta).
Tuote on ehdottomasti hintansa väärti.

Another Lidl beauty product that I bought with my own money is this bb-cream.
All-in-one Blemish Balm Cream
From 2 shades I chose the lighter one as my skin is extremely pale after long winter season. The texture felt straight away very pleasant between fingers, but when applied on to face it felt too dry and didn't spread evently. Next time I added a couple of drops Lumene's facial oil on to my face before the bb-cream and the result was much better.
The light tone is really light even to my Nordic pale face, so the darker shade will be a better choice for summer. A big plus comes from the UVA protection ( that's protecting from the sun's harmful ageing rays).
Absolutely worth the price.

Have had time testing only the cleansing milk and shower gel - both very good and pleasant products. Will continue testing asap!
