Our last destination before arriving back to Budapest was a tiny coastal village of Piran in Slovenia. 

So tranquil & relaxing there by the sea.

We kept the driving in around 200km a day except the last bit which was app. 600km.

Exhausted but happy!

Greetings From Venice!

Been to Venice more than 10 times but every time it feels such a special place. It's simply an amazing city. This time we stayed there for 2 nights on the 8th & 9th days of our car tour.

Even though it was boiling hot we walked a lot, sometimes took  vaporetto (the water bus)to the destination and once we travelled the narrow canals by a gondola.

Greetings From Verona!

The 7th day of our tour was in the city of Romeo & Juliet - the historical and lovely Verona.

Got a little rain shower in the early afternoon but the temperature didn't go under 30C.

Greetings From Lago di Como!

Arrived to Lago di Como on the 6th day of the tour.

Stayed at Silvio's in Bellagio and made a ferry trip to Menaggio and Varenna. Beautiful places!

Greetings From Mendrisio!

The 5th day was all about shopping...

Spent the whole day in Foxtown in Mendrisio. It's an outlet heaven in Switzerland near the Italian border.

So tired in the evening that just took some take out for dinner.

Greetings From Liechtenstein!

On the 4th day of our trip we arrived to the tiny alpine country Liechtenstein.

Spent a nice evening with our local friends in their lovely garden. They offered us the possibility to visit the castle of the Prince of Liechtenstein next day but unfortunately we had no time - Switzerland was already calling...

Greetings From Salzburg

2nd & 3rd day spent in Salzburg.

So far so good. Visited Hohensalzburg Castle, Hellbrunn Castle & Gardens, made long walks up to the hills, took a ferry and saw the city in different angle.
