One of my favourite cosmetic brands is the Australian Aesop. I like the whole concept of Aesop. The stores have a minimalist look, packaging is clear & simple, and of course, the products are heavenly. I'm just about running out the Geranium Leaf Body Cleanser and Geranium Leaf Body Balm. The scent is very unique and fresh.

The Geranium Leaf Body Cleanser & Body Balm both have also some mandarin and bergamot rinds in the blend.Geranium is known for its fresh, floral scent and rejuvenating properties in aromatherapy. Oil pressed from mandarin rinds is diminishing scars and stretch marks. Bergamot is well-known for it's beautiful uplifting yet calming properties.

Aesop was established in Melbourne in 1987. Their objective has always been to formulate skin, hair and body care products of the finest quality. They investigate widely to source plant-based and laboratory-made ingredients, and use only those with a proven record of safety and efficacy.

Aesop - Hydrating Body Gel

Fresh, woody & slightly floral

Bought this Petitgrain Hydrating Gel by Australian brand Aesop already some time ago. The transparent gel is said to cool skin from sun exposure & waxing, and ideal for those living in warm or humid climates. I'm not living in those conditions, but as it's a refreshing gel that cools and hydrates I use it after sauna.  It feels a bit sticky when applying it but absorbs pretty fast. Althought I wouldn't recommend it for busy mornings.

Ostin tämän australialaisen Aesopin Petitgrain Hydrating Gelin jo jokin aika sitten. Geeli on väritöntä ja sen sanotaan viilentävän ihoa auringon oton ja vahauksen jälkeen. Erinomainen tuote lämpimissä tai kosteissa olosuhteissa asuville. Omat olosuhteet eivät ole aivan tuota luokkaa, joten käytänkin tätä raikastavaa ja kosteuttavaa geeliä vilvoittamaan oloa saunan jälkeen. Levitettäessä geeli tuntuu aluksi tahmealta, mutta imeytyy ihoon kuitenkin melko nopeasti. En kuitenkaan suosittelisi tätä kiireisiin aamuihin.
