Autumn Flower Workshop

Saturday, October 14, 2017

Autumn is full of beautiful rich hues and not just in leaves but also in flowers. My ultimate favourite autumn flower is dahlia. It is so fluffy and somehow bold.

A week ago attended to this wonderful autumn flower arrangement workshop by flowerMe in Budapest. We had chance to mix different colours and make wonderful combos. I'm so easily stucked in one colour - preferable in white - so I was very much amazed how beautifully all these hues and varieties matched together.

Btw, last autumn I learned how to make autumn table decorations from flowers - check this!

(FI) Syksy on täynnä niin upeita sävyjä eikä ainoastaan syksyb lehdissä vaan myös kukissa. Oma suosikkini on daalia. Se on niin pöyheä ja jotenkin räväkkä.

Viikko sitten osallistuin flowerMe:n järkkäämälle syyskukka-asetelma workshopiin Budapestissa.

To enjoy your flowers as long as possible, you should change the water every day and cut the stems to avoid them rottening and giving them a nre surface to suck water.
Look, how wonderful mini bouquets I arranged from the left overs.

(FI) Jotta kukista olisi iloa mahdollisimman pitkään, vaihda vesi päivittäin ja leikkaa varsiin uusi imupinta.
Järkkäilin tällaisia minikimppuja jäljelle jääneistä kukista.

  11. I mentioned on one of your other fall flower posts how much I love fall and its colors, like these. We get to enjoy our fall foliage here in Maine, usually from September into early November. Still not long enough! Your photos here and the flowers in them are GORGEOUS! Thanks for the tips about preserving cut flowers longer.
