The heatwave has hit the city! It's super warm in Budapest. This is nothing unusual - every summer there's a period when the temperature rises to 40 degrees Celsius, so we just need to grin & bear it. Had a wonderful morning though!
Mihaela had brought a basket full of season's flowers straight from the flower market and I had brought my camera, so we were ready to asked passers-by what were their special memories related to flowers.

(FI) Helleaalto Saharasta on saavuttanut Budapestin. Täällä on lievästi sanottuna aikas lämmin.

DeleteI visited Budapest earlier this summer, and it was super warm when I went. I love your photos here, they are beautiful :) x
ReplyDeleteThank you! It's still so warm here now in the last weeks of August.
DeleteThey are so lucky! No one gave a flower to me and took the moment :( here is summer too but what I am seeing is the chaos and traffic. I envy you
ReplyDeleteOh, what a pity there's no people having time to deal with flowers out there ;)
DeleteI love this. :) I may do something similar in the city where I currently live. I love giving flowers and then to hear people's stories related to receiving flowers would be so nice and endearing. My favorite memory attached to flowers is when my husband once brought me home flowers after I told him I had had a really bad day at work. It was so thoughtful of him and he went out of his way to stop by a special shop that carried my then favorite flowers, Birds of Paradise. :)
ReplyDeleteOh, that's so sweet and caring! Thank you for sharing your flower related story :)
Deletesuch a beautiful composition! i love flowers - they can brighten up any day, no matter how colourless and cloudy it seems.
