Hi, my name is Tiina and I'm a chocoholic. I know that I shouldn't eat that much sugar and fat, but there's somethign in chocolate that I just cannot resist. I'm totally addicted to it. No matter how much chocolate I eat, I never feel sick of it.
Why do I eat it so much? Absolutely no idea. It must be something mental. When I start I cannot stop. I continue as long as it all is gone. I always wanted to be that skinny girl who takes only one bite of a gourmet chocolate and eats it in peace with a cup of tea and feels the texture of it and really enjoys that one bite. But that's not me, unfortunately. It's all or nothing. No half bars, plates or boxes. Everything in one go. This must be something mental.
I used to eat cookies as well. The whole package was gone in a minute. Afterwards I did feel sick, so in the end I finally changed my diet and went glutenfree. Now it's no more cookies. Just occasionally glutenfree onces but those sold in my local super market are not that delicious, so they are not on my daily menu.
It didn't take long getting rid of these beautifully hand-made rocky road and mint chocolates.
Do you have habits or are you addicted to something you would like to get rid of but can't really find the way how?
I used to be addicted to chocolate too! But I've managed to slow down and now I actually enjoy it more when I do have it. It was damn hard though and took a lot of determination!
ReplyDeleteIt certainly needs determination, and I'm lacking that at the moment!
DeleteStunning photography and sweet topic! I've trained myself to crave "hot chocolate" (aka unsweetened cocoa powder with hot water/almond milk).....but can't resist a piece of extra dark or two (especially when chilled from the fridge. Cute post!!

DeleteI'm a chocoholic too... especially with Twix and Snickers, lol!! LOVE your stunning photography.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much :) Good to know there are people like me out there :D
DeleteOooh I love chocolate but my biggest addiction is spending money so I am not sure which one is worse lol.
ReplyDelete:D I used to be addicted to that as well but got rid of it - meaning spent it all already.
DeleteI used to eat a lot of chocolate but I'm trying to control it now

ReplyDeleteI so hope I could control it a bit!
DeleteI guess I'm that skinny girl. If the chocolate is not a gourmet one, I don't see the point of even tasting it as I know it's not going to taste nice. It's like with wine - if it's not good, I won't have it just to spoil my tasting buds. And when I have 2 or 3 bites of chocolate, slowly tasted and melted in my mouth, than I feel I had enough of sweetness and that's it. I don't need no more.
ReplyDeleteI always wondered how people can eat a whole chocolate bar at ones. Seriously? How?!
Oh, you are exactly that girl I would love to be! So many of my friends are always wondering how on earth I can eat that much chocolate and I cannot explain it - it just happens. Sad but true!
Deleteholy chocolate yum-yum! I wish I could eat that good tasting stuff : )
ReplyDeleteI so wish I couldn't! I'm really addicted to it.
DeleteI'm addicted to sweet mango. Once I start to eat it hardly to stop, but mango is different than chocolate. I can't eat mango as much as chocolate fan eat chocolate hehehe.
ReplyDeleteMango is so good and it's healthy as well. I wish I had an addict like that instead.
