Koivu Necklace by Mari Syrén

Wednesday, August 19, 2015

Here's another necklace designed by Mari Syrén. This one is with turquise glass beads and silver leaves of birch. That's where its name comes from - birch in Finnish is called "koivu".

Beautiful!

My previou post of Mari's piece of jelwery here!

Mashka - Made In San Francisco

Sunday, March 29, 2015

How do you like my new necklace? It's made of stones & crystals. Love the shades of it - crispy white, sharp black, earthy grey and lucid clear stones with silver chain. Goes with anything! It's hand-made by a small American jewelry brand called Mashka in San Francisco.

//Mitäs tykkäät uudesta kaulakorustani? Kivistä ja kristalleista tehdyssä korussa on niin ihanat sävyt - raikasta valkoista, jämäkkää mustaa, maanläheistä harmaata ja läpiluultavaa kirkasta yhdistettynä hopeiseen ketjuun. Sopii vaikka minkä kanssa! Koru on käsityötä ja sen on valmistanut pieni amerikkalainen korubrändi nimeltään Mashka San Franciscossa.

The main store of Mashka is on Grant Avenue in San Francisco.

//Mashkan päämyymälä sijaitsee Grant Avenuella San Franciscossa.

A Peacock Butterfly

Wednesday, January 8, 2014

 Neito pendant by Lumoava.
Got this beautiful silver butterfly pendant for xmas present. It's design by Finnish jewelry maker Eelis Aleksi.

Lumoava was born four years ago when designer Eelis Aleksi (born 1980) had the
vision of a designer centered jewellery brand. According to Eelis Aleksi, the basis of
all design draws from having the courage
to think and see things differently.

The necklace goes with everything! It upgrades a plain t-shirt, it makes a shirt sparkle, it gives a festive touch to a black dress - the list is endless.

"Tuntoa, taitoa, lumoa niin aitoa
Kevein siivin, vakain askelin,
kulkee neito luontevin"
