Ballet In Her Life

Monday, May 29, 2017

Ballet dancer Csilla is teaching ballet for adults in Budapest. Little girls are often dreaming of becoming a beautiful ballet dancer but unfortunately not everyone has what it takes to become a ballerina. Thats why it's fantastic that there's a chance for us not so young and not so flexible ones to practise some ballet movements like "Arabesque", "Plié", "Croisé"...

Csilla is a very kind, sympathic and unselfish person. I wanted to ask her some questions to find out more about her. Here're some of her thoughts.

~~~~
(FI) Balettitanssija Csilla opettaa aikuisbalettia Budapestissa. Pienet tytöt usein haaveilevat siitä, että olisivat balettitanssijoita, mutta harvasta kuitenkaan tulee balleriinaa. Tästä syystä onkin mahtavaa, että myös näin myöhemmällä iällä ja melko kankeana on mahdollisuus päästä kokeilemaan niitä kuuluisia balettimuuveja kuten "Arabesque", "Plié", "Croisé"...
Csilla on niin sympaattinen, ystävällinen ja epäitsekäs persoona. Halusin kysyä häneltä muutaman lyhyen kysymyksen, jotta saisin tietää hänestä hieman enemmän. Tässä hänen mietteitä.
The most beautiful ballet experience for me was to see both my daughters' ballet performance.
~~~~

Elämäni kaunein balettikokemus oli nähdä molempien tyttärieni balettiesitys.

"Do what you believe, believe what you do!" - that's my favorite motto.

Well-being means to me home. Home is the island of peace, safety, serenity and love.

~~~~
Tee sitä mihin uskot ja usko siihen mitä teet. Tämä on suosikkimottoni.
Hyvinvointi tarkoittaa minulle kotia. Koti on rauhan, turvallisuuden, tyyneyden ja rakkauden saareke.
I couldn't live without the pulping energy inside me.
My favourite spot in budapest is our home!
~~~~

En voisi elää sisältäni pulppuavaa energiaa.

Lempipaikkani Budapestissa on meidän oma kotimme.

The thing that makes me happy is to serve the others around me and see them happy.  I always think how to reach it and consider it as my goal.

~~~~
Minut tekee onnelliseksi se, että voin auttaa ja olla muita varten. Muiden auttaminen on päämääräni.
I would describe myself as supportive, kind and cheerful. I am patient, balanced and having a good self-discipline.
~~~~

Kuvailisin itseäni kannustavaksi, ystävälliseksi ja iloiseksi. Olen kärsivällinen, tasapainoinen ja minulla on hyvä itsekuri.

If you are in Budapest and would like to attend to Csilla's classes, you can find the Everybody Ballet's timeschedule here.

  6. I used to dance as a kid and while I was more of a freestyler-latin dance girl I always admired ballet. It is amazing that she teaches ballet inclusively x

  8. Ballet dancers are so graceful. Even when they are not in the studio or up on stage performing, there is a certain aura that makes them stand out from the crowd.

    1. That is so true! Of course, it's the posture but it must be something else as well.

  14. I used to be a ballet dancer and I think it can be so useful for adult woman! It helps with posture, self perception, and it doesn't have the (sometimes) detrimental effects is can have on younger girl. I wish I was in Budapest to join her classes!
