Wallpaper for A Corridor

Wednesday, June 22, 2016

How about to pick up a statement wallpaper to a corridor?

This is still the same student flat with three bedrooms which I've been introducing to you now in several postings. There's a long corridor between the bedrooms and bathroom. Instead of having white paint on every wall, one wall was covered with a wallpaper full of trees. It's pretty neutral, kind of organic & ecological looking and matches well with the whole flat.

found this tree pattern wallpaper at Wallpaperdirect. It's from Albany and called Treescape.

What kind of wallpaper would you choose for a corridor?

PS. You can find the three student bedroom here, here and here!

  2. I did not know wallpapers look so beautiful till I saw a couple of them in my friend's house. I loved your idea of having the wallpapers instead of plain white color on long corridors, definitely a best choice

    1. People are sometimes a bit afraid of wallpapers, but it's worth to try.

  3. I really like that wallpaper is making a comeback! I would probably chose something a bit more subtle but I love all the options!

  4. This does look pretty cool. I must say that I haven't seen something like this before. For the corridor, I don't have a wallpaper currently. It's just simple paint that easily removes any stains or drawings my baby makes on them. :-)

    1. Nowadays wallpapers are so easy to take care of and keep clean, but perhaps it's not yet time for you to have them on the wall :D

  6. The wallpaper looks nice. It`s simple and remind me of nature. I also think that just one big tree with glittery leaves in the middle of the wall would look really nice.

  7. Somebody told me before that if you are stressed and unmotivated, just look at any gree shade then your mind can absorb refreshing vibe. I could imagine how serene it could be to be surrounded by trees in wallpaper like this. :)

    1. That is so true! Green is calming and refreshing at the same time - a bit same as matcha tea :)

  8. The corridor looks nice, but I would have appreciated the beauty better if there is another picture of the corridor w/o the wall paper.

You're really an artist, I would have been satisfied w/ plain white wall, as I prefer minimalist.
