This is now the third and last of the three bedrooms for a student flat. The first one was with yellow, second with dark green and this last one with dark blue accents. Otherwise all of them are pretty simialr to each other.
Everything is kept very simple & basic so the new tenants can all bring their personal belongings with them and easily adjust the room for their own taste with pictures etc.
All the cushions and bedlinens are from HM Home.
Gorgeous! Navy is my favorite color anyhow, but these are so striking. I love how this looks!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Liz! Made me very happy to hear this!
DeleteFinally, the blue one! This is simply perfect as the designs blend with the timber floor. :)
ReplyDeleteYes, finally the blue options :D Thank you, Jessica!
DeleteYES! Love dark blue, I always gravitate toward grey and white and the dark blue works so well
ReplyDeleteThank you! It seems people like the colour of blue a lot.
DeleteI like the dark blue accents! They add a classy and modern touch to the whole room.
ReplyDeleteI feel exactly the same - dark blue is classy yet modern.
DeleteThis looks very pretty and I love the colours. It looks so neat and chic. I am going to move my house soon so I was looking for ideas. Glad to have come across this post.
ReplyDeleteGreat if my post gave you some inspiration!
DeleteI love the accents! When we first bought our home we painted our bedroom a dark hue of indigo without realizing that a lot of our furniture was of similar shade lol! We now live under the sea ha! I think it's time to redecorate :)
ReplyDeletePerhaps it would be time to update :D It will be fun!
DeleteThis looks so beautiful and elegant. I love the way the dark blue goes with light colors like ash and white.
ReplyDeleteI didn't want to mix the dark blue any other "real" colour. It looks better with neutrals
Deletegee, this looks really nice. I wish my bedroom looked like yours.
ReplyDeleteWell, this is not my own bedroom as it's made for a student flat. Mine looks completely differnt :D
DeleteLove this room! Minimalist but with a bit of colour - perfect for me :)
ReplyDeleteGreat! This minimalist room is rather easy to make cosy with some personal items.
DeleteI have chosen for the blue in my bedroom, where I have a blue wall out of four, blue curtains and a wooden floor like the one of this room. I love this style and you gave me so many new little ideas to complete my bedroom!
ReplyDeleteI'm so happy if you found my post inspirational for you!
DeleteI think navy is a great colour to use as an accent because it looks so sophisticated but is also very professional looking too.
ReplyDeleteYou're right! Dark blue is not so playful colour especially when mixed with as neutrals as i have done here.
DeleteI love how the blue stands out against the wooden floor, you definitely have a gift when it comes to interior decorating.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Chris!
DeleteLittle bit color is always great idea in all white interior, love darker blue choice xoxo

I totally agree with you - a hint of colour looks nice with otherwise all white interior.
DeleteI loved the navy color of pillows highlighting the decor of an entire room! I'm sure the student renting this room would love it!
ReplyDeleteLet's hope so :)
DeleteIt definitely adds depth to any room as well as class. Dark blue has this certain sophistication to it that makes anything look elegant! I really like this color!
ReplyDeleteDark blue really gives a very special elegant touch.

DeleteThere is something amazing about blue in a room. It adds that amazing pop of color and serene feel too.
ReplyDeleteBlue is looks fresh and has that calming effect which is great to have in a bedroom.
DeleteI wouldn't choose to have navy in my bedroom but this looks lovely. The styling is great.
ReplyDeleteIt is said that blue is the best colour for bedroom - not everyone likes it! actually I don't have any blue at my home at all...
