Fresh Figs

Figs are a good source of dietary fiber, potassium, vitamin B6 and manganese.Figs can be eaten whole and raw, including the seeds and the skin - well, I skip the skin.
The taste is sweet with a mild flavor.





I like to eat fresh figs as a snack but they go pretty well with blue cheese as well. 

 Nice dessert, isn't it?
