Hotel Piran has 100th birthday this year,
to celebrate it the hotel has made some interior upgrading actually some renos were still going on in some parts of the hotel while staying there, not disturbing though.
Been to this hotel for many many times over the years.
In the beginning it was quite, well, not so nice with all that dark, worn-out furniture and carpet.
Gradually over the years the place has gone trough
several smaller make overs.
New paint for outside walls as well.
New plants replacing the old ones.
Hmmm...
Well, would've made it a bit differently...
The standard rooms are pretty tiny, but
it doesn't matter...
...because this is what you're paying for:
location & view.
The new breakfast room was a nice surprise!
The service in the hotel is warm and welcoming.
There're 14 spacious suites, 70 double room, 4 singles rooms
and a presidential suite with jacuzzi on its terrace
(will be ready at any moment soon!).
