Lime & Ginger Marinated Chicken Leg

I was so happy when a friend of mine asked me to be her quinea pig for a new recipe she wanted to try out. She said that it was super easy and simple to prepare. Have to say this was one of the best chicken legs ever! So tasty and juicy!

So here's the recipe:

Lime & ginger marinated chicken leg

for 2 chicken legs:

1-2 lime juice (depending how juicy they are)
grated fresh ginger (app. 5cm)
3-4 tbls soya sauce

Marinate the chicken legs for over night if possible. Bake them in the oven for 15 mins on both sides without any lid, add some olive oil on them and continue baking for another 15 mins with a lid on.

As the soya sauce is quite salty, no salt is needed. Of course, it depends on your taste.

Serve the legs with boiled rice and green peas. You can add a bit of soya sauce to your rice.

(FI) Olin tosi iloinen kun ystäväni kutsui minut koekaniiniksi maistamaan hänen uutta kanareseptiään. Aivan uskomattoman herkullista!

2 kanankoipea vartens:

1-2 limen mehu (riippuu hedelmien mehukkuudesta)
raastettua tuoretta inkivääriä (n. 5cm pala)
3-4 rkl soijakastiketta
