Pest Or Buda?

Monday, August 1, 2016

Budapest is divided in 2 parts; Buda and Pest. Between these places is the river Danube. Buda is the hilly side and more residental while Pest is more commercial.
Started my evening walk on the Pest side and ended up to the Buda hills in Castle district. There are eight bridges in Budapest to cross the Danube. I took the most famous one called Chain Bridge (Lánchíd).
Here're some the pics I snapped during my walk.

    1. People normally want to live on the Buda side as it's not that busy and have nice green areas.

    1. The architecture is pretty amazing - every day I find a 'new' gorgeous building. Of course, most of them are still in a pretty bad condition.

    1. The architecture and perhaps also the fact that there are like 2 sides - the hilly and flat side that makes the city more intersting looking.
