Budapest is divided in 2 parts; Buda and Pest. Between these places is the river Danube. Buda is the hilly side and more residental while Pest is more commercial.
Started my evening walk on the Pest side and ended up to the Buda hills in Castle district. There are eight bridges in Budapest to cross the Danube. I took the most famous one called Chain Bridge (LánchÃd).
Here're some the pics I snapped during my walk.

DeleteThanks for sharing this piece of work with these amazing images. I have read something to this last week on a blog. It is good to know more about the city or a particular place
ReplyDeleteThanks! I will keep that in mind for my next posts. Usually I just let the pictures speak and leave the text out.
DeleteI have to admit that I've never been to Budapest. After seeing your lovely photos, I'm asking myself what that is. What a beautiful place and I love all of t he architecture.

DeleteBudapest must be somewhere wonderful with these images... if you ask me, I will choose buda for it calm nature.
ReplyDeleteThat's what people useally do - they choose Buda :)
DeleteI would love to visit one day, I think I would choose Buda because of its calm tranquility and I could really do with that right now!
ReplyDeletePeople normally want to live on the Buda side as it's not that busy and have nice green areas.
DeleteHow absolutely beautiful, your photos capture the spirit of the place and make me want to go there. Definitely on my bucket list.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Tania! Hope you can come and see this city in the near future:)
DeleteAmazing! Is on my list already, I just need to wait for the perfect moment. The architecture is very similar to ours, pretty crazy I wasn't aware of that!
ReplyDeleteThe architecture is pretty amazing - every day I find a 'new' gorgeous building. Of course, most of them are still in a pretty bad condition.
DeleteI've never visited but it does look like an amazing place. I just love all of the architecture.
ReplyDeleteIt's nice just to walk around the city and look around all those old buildings:)
DeleteWow! Budapest is very beautiful. I love that they were able to preserve all the old architecture. It's really amazing!
ReplyDeleteThe architecture and perhaps also the fact that there are like 2 sides - the hilly and flat side that makes the city more intersting looking.
DeleteYour photos are gorgeous! I would go crazy myself with taking pictures of the architecture.
ReplyDeleteLove,

Thank you so much, Ivelisse! It's diffcult to walk around without taking any pics here :D
DeleteMy favorite pics are typically bridges, but the tunnel is my fav from this post.
ReplyDeleteSounds good! That tunnel is quite fascinating as built to go to the otherside of the Castle Hill.
DeleteYou snapped great photos! I had a chance to go to Budapest but haven't be able to, never the less, it's really beautiful. Most people don't know that's devided in Buda and Pest.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much! You're right, people don't always know that there really are Buda and Pest.
DeleteI always wanted to visit Budapest someday! Your photos are really beautiful too!
