Here're some pics of Mäihä blocks of flat which was shown at the Housing Fair 2016 in Seinäjoki. It was possible to see three differently decorated homes of this building.
The first photos here are from 'Lusto' which made for and elderly couple who wants to downsize their living after children have already moved out. Looking cosy and fresh with neutrals and carefully chosen colours in textiles.
One of the three flats in this house was turn into a gallery - Galleria Konsti - where local crafted art and utensils were shown how they would fit in a real home.
The third flat is called 'Moobs' and it was designed and decorated for a single man who works in the local hospital as a doctor. In his freetime he likes to travel abroad and hike in the neighbourhood.

I love the colour palette used for the decor in all three apartments. I especially love the accessories used and the texture and contrast of the soft furnishings . Great!
ReplyDeleteSounds great! There are nice colours which all fits well with neutrals.
DeleteThat shaggy decor looks so soft to touch! I love it all.

I guess this is very Scandinavian way to use colours in decor :)
DeleteThe first photo is like an inspiration for me! I'd love to have it in my home! It's all about details! I appreciate simplicity and minimalism.
ReplyDeleteWhen you have it simple and mnimalistic it's always easy to add something extra to it depending your mood, season etc.
DeleteWell I wish my home looked like that but sadly I am stuck in a box room with no space. Love the neutral details.
ReplyDeleteIt's not always easy nor possible to keep it that neutral.
DeleteI can imagine this being a perfect place for a single person (man or not). This is so beautifully decorated, I loved it.
