There're six novels in this Budapest Noir series by Vilmos Kondor and this is the second one.
An interesting detective storie located in the late 1930's Budapest. The life was pretty wild back then - including drugs, gambling and murders...
The title is translated into "Sinfull Budapest" in Finnish, but the original name of the book is "Bűnös", which means "guilty".
For me it was, of course, interesting to follow the routes of the protagonists, but I can certainly recommend this book also for you whether you're familiar with the streets of Budapest or not.

Vilmos Kondorin Budapest Noir kirjasarjaan kuuluu kuusi romaania. Tässä niistä toinen nimeltään "Budapestin synnit". Alkuperäisen teoksen nimi unkariksi on "Bűnös" eli syyllinen. Tapahtumat dekkarissa sijoittuvat 1930-luvun Budapestiin. Elämä oli aika villiä siihen aikaan huumeita, uhkapelejä, murhia...
Itselleni on tietysti ollut mielenkiinoista seurata t'm'n hyvin kirjoitetun kirjan päähenkilöiden reittejä tutussa kaupungissa, mutta voin ehdottomasti suositella kirjaa kaikille riippumatta siitä, ovatko Budapestin kadut tuttuja vai eivät.
