From Murano took a vaporetto to
Fondamente Nuove
and from there to Lido
- as the weather was so good
wanted to see the famous beaches of Lido
.
The Lido is an 11 km long sandbar located in Venice,
home to about 20,000 residents.
The Venice Film Festivaltakes place at the Lido every September.

Can imagine how full of Italians the beach is in August!.
