Tuesday noon had a flight

from Budapest to Skavsta

- Skavsta is in Nyköping, some kms south of Stockholm

- hired a car & drove to Tranås

.

Had booked a room at Badhotellet in Tranås

- the reception looks nice

as well as all the other halls & salons in the hotel

.

Got room 249:

But the rooms doesn't really match

to the concept so well...They are spacious,

.
plenty of room
but the final touch is missing
.

especially in the bathrooms,

no ceramic tiles

which would give a more luxurious finish
.

nor place to but toileteries etc
.

and no bath amenities

- all those would fit so well for the old spa hotel
.

Downstairs there's a spa department

with different saunas for women & men,

1 steam sauna,

2 pools

and relaxing areas

and treatment rooms

- had time to go to the steam sauna & warm pool

- very relaxing after all that sitting in a plane & a car
.

Lots of beautiful details in the hotel
