Plenty of choices of restaurants in Vierumaki

- for Friday night had made a reservation for Rampsi a la Carte

 "Three Fish, Three Bread"

- smoked vendace mousse,

oak-smoked salmon,

cold-smoked white fish

Braised perch with mushroom-potato gratin

and lemon-butter sauce

- unfortunately too many bones in the fish...

 Chocolate fondant with pistacchio ice-cream

- delicious!

 Flambeéring of crepes

 Rampsi a la Carte

- had a very nice evening there!

 Starters from buffet at Resort&Kitchen Grill

-very nice

 Mushroom pizza

- as a big fan of mushrooms this one wasn't very good,

the mushrooms had no taste at all

One evening had pizzas delivered

from Resort&Kitchen Grill

to the chalet

- this time the Fantasy pizza that chose was very tasty!

The Finnish Ministery of Europe Alexander Stubb

- who also spent autumn holiday in Vierumaki -

did the same thing:

had take-away pizza for saturday night

Sports Institute Of Finland

 Lots of things to do in Vierumaki

 Walking, running

 Had a fitness test in the sports hall

and also running technique and stretching classes

 This stretching class is from Arena hall

Place for swimming

 Pool with warm water for stretching

- also jaguzzi and a pool for swimming and water running 

 From riding to skating

and everything in between

at Vierumaki

The official opening of Vierumaki Sports Institute of Finland

 was in 1937

- in the area there's a large variety of different architectural eras,

from the 1930s to 2011

 Small lake down there

 There's a spa with Finnish sauna and steam sauna in Scandic hotel

- facial and body treatments by Darphin and Payot cosmetics

- had a fabulous facial!

Refreshments available at the spa

- nice idea!
