I try to carry a bottle of water with me all the time.
Too often it's still in my bag when I arrive back home...

Some facts:
  • Bottled water is not safer than tap water
  • Increasingly, bottles water comes from the taps.
  • Bottled water creates mountains of garbage and causes other major environmental problems.
  • Bottled water is thousands of times more expensive than tap water.
  • Bottled water companies mislead communities into giving away their public water in exchange for dangerous jobs.

Here in Miami Beach we'd been carrying gallons of water
from CVS, Walgreens etc. until...
...we found out that there's a tap next to the ice cube machine in our fridge! It's filtered tap water.

So how much fluid does the average, healthy adult
living in a temperate climate need?
The Institute of Medicine determined that an adequate intake =AI
for men is roughly 3 litres of total beverages a day.
The AI for women is 2.2 litres of total beverages a day.
