Police crime report
in the Abacos in February:
Assult -
On February 16
a resident of Fire Road reported that
while she was at work in Dundas Town
a man she knew slapped her on her face.
Stealing -
On February 17
a Spring City resident reported that
his vacuum cleaner was missing
from the car wash that he owns.
He named two suspects who were leasing the property
and are maybe responsible for the theft.
Shop Breaking -
On February 18
a business in Marsh Harbour was broken into.
Nothing appeared stolen.
Someone is suspected in this matter.
Shop Breaking -
On February 18
a business in Cooper's Town was broken into
$200 in cash was stolen.
A suspect has been named.
Assult -
On February 19
a resident of Dundas Town
was arrested near Bat View Restaurant.
He was charged with assult of a police officer,
disorderly behaviour, threats of death,
resisting arrest and obscene language
and was released on $2.000 bail.
Stealing -
On February 22
someone stole a CD player valued at $135
from the dashboard of a car in Central Pines.
Oh, what a scary place!
