Lenno - Lago di Como

Started the day running

- there's not a running track

but was told that the main road away from Bellagio

is the place where people run

- towards Belaggio the main road is really narrow

in some places

so not an ideal for running

and the smaller roads are extremely steep,

so forgot those

.

After running had a refreshing swim

in the pool

The breakfast doesn't include into the room rate

but can be ordered a day before

.

Harmonious breakfast lounge

- good breakfast,

worth to have it!

Around 11am had a transportation to downtown

Bought a day-ticket for boats

- possible to travel between Bellagio,

Lenno, Tremezzo, San Giovanni,

Varenna & Menaggio

by boats and ferries
.

Decided to start with Lenno

Lenno lies around the bay called "Baia di Venere",
formed by the peninsula Lavedo.
- several religious buildings with important works of art
- Villa Balbinello, built in 17th century,

has been in films like:

A Month by the Lake, 1995

Ocean's Twelve, 2004

Casino Royale, 2006

After lunch took the Greenway

to Tremezzo

Greenway is a marked

partly coble stoned path

- lovely walk,

not easy in 40C...
