Wanted to see the sea at least once more this autumn. So left to Piran, Slovenia early morning on Friday.
Finally found a warm and sunny place!
Arrived to Piran for lunch time.
Got a room on 3rd floor with a seaview from Hotel Piran.

Walked to Portoroz.
Booked the ticket to Venice by catamaran Prince of Venice.

Lovely warm weather.
Had a cup of tea and a piece of blueberry tart at Caffe Mignon.
Also pistacchio ice cream...
Walked back to Piran and there up to the church hill.

Grilled St Jacob's mussels, 3,50eur
Black mussels cooked in white wine with garlic & herbs, 7eur
Grilled sole with home made chips, 19eur
Italian lemon sorbet, 3eur
Local white wine, 8eur/litre
- delicious meal!
