Rainy day

Wednesday, July 23, 2008

Planned yesterday to go for a morning run. Woke up already at 6am but didn't bother to go because of the heavy rain.

The whole day has been rainy and dark. Like in autumn. Feel like putting on new Diane von Furstenberg cashmere dress bought at Henry Bendell, New York in June. Can't wait to be able to wear it with black boots! Actually didn't mean to buy it. Wanted to buy a Diane von Furstenberg summer dress - the department at Bendell's was so tempting. Trouble with the sizes. The sales assistant had to go down to fetch more sizes, brought also pieces from the brand new collection - and there it was! Had to get it.

The whole trip to New York was meant to be a shopping trip.
But didn't buy so much.

Some hand bags: a black Kate Spade tote, black-white Coach signature handbag and black Marc by Marc Jacob's messanger. All very wintery items.

Some summery items:
A pair of pink Calvin Klein flat sandals and white ones from Ralph Lauren.

A pair of Calvin Klein sandals matching well with a Coach ponytail scarf

A pair of Ralph Lauren sandals
Wanted to buy only American items, but there was a sale at Prada SoHo...
found a Prada art deco type silk skirt with 30% discount.
