The opening ceremony of this photo exhibition was yesterday and from today on the doors are open to everyone until April 3rd.
I don't think there's anyone who hasn't seen Steve McCurry's iconic photo of the Afghan girl. The photo of the green-eyed 12-year-old girl was shot in 1984. She had never before been photographed. After the photo was published on the cover of National Geographic in 1985 it spread all over the world.
