Xmas Market

Saturday, December 17, 2011

Put earlier some pics of a Xmas Market
in Vienna, but there're Xmas Markets also
in Budapest.
Mulled vine served in a plastic cup...
 Loads of things for sale,
some made in Hungary, some not.
 Traditional gingerbread figures
with colourful sugar-icing.
 Interesting small cakes.
 If you get hungry,
have a virszli with pickled cucumber and paprika!
 Hand-decorated bottles
(for what?)
Guess these ornaments are cut into the surface.
The pics are all from the Xmas Market at Bazilika.
Decorated  entrance to the Xmas market.
All the buildings around the square
are beautiful old ones except this one!
The xmas tree is in the middle of a skating ring,
but it's not made of ice but plastic.
You can rent skates there.

By the way, there's a new Starbucks
next to Bazilika.
