Key West on program for Monday
- Safari Tours bus arrived at 7am
to pick up for the excursion
- Jorge the driver was also our guide,
it was possible to practise Spanish
as Jorge gave the tour in English
& in Spanish as well
.

when living in Key West
- didn't go inside,
read that it's better to avoid it,
the atmosphere isn't the same any more
as it used to be in Papa Hemingway's times
.

The weather was rainy & warm
when arrived to Key West
- after some minutes the rain stopped
and the temperature got even higher,
very tropical weather there
.
Walgreens pharmacy was in an old theatre
.
Southernmost point of the United States
.
Small trolley takes tourists around the town
- 25.000 inhabitants in Key West,
lots of tourists coming in January-April
- could see that the resession has hit tourism here as well,
shops 're selling goods with huge discounts
.
All the sand has been brought here from Bahamas
.

but luckily didn't get any more rain

Nice day!
Key West is a nice town to visit once
and for a day
but otherwise there are not much to see or do,
very touristic place
- loved the beautiful houses there
&
the climate is very pleasant
.
