Charity Fashion Show
at Finnish Embassy

Csodalampa - Wonderlamp- Foundation
"Our aim is to bring some happines and adventure into the lives of children
who are seriously ill with life-threatening deseases such as
kidney/liver disease, cancer or leukemia.
There are always around 5000 such children in Hungary.
We would like to make them forget
the hospital, medication and treatment
for a day, or even just for a few hours.
Through the fullfilled wishes they can travel to unreachable places
or meet famous people.
They are able to do things they would never be able to do otherwise,
in other words,
a wish fulfilled."
The founder, Eva Patzauer, is an ex-collegue of my friend.
She lost her her 7-year-old daughter suffering from cancer in 2003.
And found the foundation in same year.
Jaakko Selin from Finland was the representer
of the fashion designers
- she's famous for her little black dresses
but as now it was time to present the spring/summer 09 collection
the focus was on more colourful dresses
- her dresses were ultra-feminine
- plenty of Hungarian celebrities have chosen their wedding dress from Anita's collection
Delicious chocolate cake!
After the fashion show a light buffet supper was served.
Nori (in red dress) will now have a chance to go to Finland
for a couple of days
and meet Lauri from Rasmus
One wish will come true,
so the night was worth it!
