Bratislava

Arrived to Slovakia's capital Bratislava a few hours ago.
Used to visit here quite often,
found it nice & compact
with a lovely old town.
Food was great
and absolutely not expensive at all.
Some years ago it all changed
and lots of tourists started to come here
by cheap flights
and the prices came up.
.
After being here for couple of hours,
it still looks nice & compact.
And as they are having Euros nowadays,
it's easy and the prices are -
or at least feel to be-
lower than in Hungary
. Cumil
- a common man observing passers-by
- a bronze statue placed next to a cafe
on the corner of Bratislava's Corso
.
Radisson Sas Carlton on the left
(staying there for the night)
- Hviezdoslav Square
.

The Main Square with market stalls
- place for traditional Christmas fair, performances, concerts...
- it used to be the main market place,
stage for the Passion plays, gatherings
and where the rulers were greeted and welcomed,
but also where executings and public punishments were carried out
.
Slovak National Theatre
- Neo-Renaissance building
.Hlavne Namestie
- The Main Square
The Old Town Hall
& a part of the Maximilian's fountaine
.
