Not just beautiful in colours these fruit & berries are super healthy as well. I try to eat as much organic and ecological food as possible, so I pick up my summer fruit from the local farmers' market. There are two markets nearby my home so I even have plenty of choices. Now it's the season for red currants & apricots. Both fruit have plenty of health benefits.
Red currants are known as superfruits as they have naturally high antioxidant capacity. They are high in vitamin C and a good source of potassium, fibre, iron, calsium, magnesium and vitamin B6. So red currants make your skin beautful, boost your blood, make your immune system stronger, help in constipation and are heart-healthy.
Apricots are also rich in antioxidants and contain Vitamin C & vitamin A, copper, fibre and potassium. They are good for your eyes, strengten your bones, make your skin beautiful and are heart-healthy as well.
