Health Benefits Of Chocolate

Monday, October 16, 2017

Can you magine - I received a plate of chocolate by post the other day! It was a thank you for taking a part in moodboard competition organized by Finnish Housing Fair and Marabou (Swedish chocolate manufactory). So I got this plate of chocolate free. It felt so good to spend a couple of hours reading a good novel and having bites of chocolate in the afternoon.

I'm a chocoholic so I need to know if there're any health benefits of chocolate. That would give me a perfect excuse to continue my so-called quilty pleasure.

Voitko kuvitella - sain toissa päivänä levyn suklaata postitse!

Olen todellinen suklaaholisti, joten mun on pakko selvittää onko suklaassa mitään terveyshyötyä. Näin saisin itselleni tekosyyn jatkaa pahettani.

Btw, if you became interested in that book "Budapest Noir" by Vilmos Kondor, check it here. I can warmly recommend it to all who have visited Buddapest or are going to visit here!

  5. Before they're processed into chocolate, cacao beans have more antioxidants flavonoids than blueberries, green tea and red wine. They have also been associated with improvements in mood as they enhance opioid-receptors in the brain. Very cool stuff! x
