Vintage Market Budapest

Wednesday, September 28, 2016

(EN)There was a nice vintage event organized at Ötkert in Budapest last Sunday. Lots of cute hand-made pieces and decor ideas.

For me especially interestig was the demonstration of Chalk paint spray. This paint is perfect for furniture which needs a nice chalky touch. The finish is ultra matt with velvety appearance. There are lot of different hues - absolutely beautiful soft colours. It can be used on wood, metal, cardboard and even on plastic.

Found out that the brand name is Pinty Plus but not where to buy it here in Hungary!  The Spanish company has their web site in several languages so you can check and find out more about these paints here!

Valikoimissa on useita kauniita pehmeitä sävyjä. Maali soveltuu puupinnoille, metellille, pahville ja jopa muovipinnoille.

Tuotebrändin nimi on Pinty Plus. En valitettavasti löytänyt mitään konkreettista paikkaa josta näitä maaleja voisi ostaa, mutta espanjalaisen yrityksen kotisivut ovat useammalla kielellä. Käy kurkkaamassa tästä.

(EN) This "Vintage Piac" (vinatge market) took place in Ötkert, which is on Zrinyi utca 4, very near the Basilika.

    1. The place was not easy to find as it was in a court yard and kind of inside, but when finally found it I was surprised how great it was.
