Visited famous Hoover Dam earlier this week. it's about 32 miles from Las Vegas and takes around 40mins by car to reach there. The dam was built during 1931-35 on Colorado River to produce electricity for Nevada, California and Arizona. The design represents elegant Art Deco style. Quite an impressive construction!
On my wish list: a steel desk.
Lake Mead is the largest reservoir in the US. It's generated by the dam.
Driving back to Las Vegas...
