Along The High Line

Sunday, November 3, 2013

Made a nice walk along the High Line starting from Gansevoort Street in Meatpacking District. The High Line is a great example of recycling - it's built on a section of the elevated former New York Central Railroad spur. The elevated tracks are still seen among the planted trees and flowers in this greenway. Took some pics of Meatpacking and Chelsea while walking above the street level.

Later had a foot rub combined with neck & back rub at Yan May Foot Spa on Hester Street in Chinatown. 1 hour treatment for $30. Just walked in without any advanced booking, needed to wait only for 5mins for my turn. Even though the place was packed the atmosphere was relaxed. Now my feet feel so much lighter!
