The Ivy

Beautiful morning on Friday!
- the weather was sunny but chilly
.
Worked all day but had also time
for proper lunch
- Wolsely was fully-booked,
so tried The Ivy
Entrance to The Ivy
.
Aperative: Kir Royal,
followed by Crab Bisque
(the only photo that could take there,
before Maitre d'Hotel told no pictures allowed.
Probably due to the huge amount of theircelebrity customers)
- the bisque was delicious,
maybe little too big as a lunch starter,
because it was very creamy
- the crab meat bites were delicious!
.
Main course: Salmon Fishcake
- quite huge and heavy portion
but the taste was heavenly!
and also the texture of the fishcake
Absolutely fantastic!
.
Dessert: Sticky Toffee Pudding
- never had toffee pudding like this good!
So sweet & delicious!
.
Very nice atmosphere,
& good service, of course
- kind of bistro-like feeling,
positively crowded & noisy
.
Upstairs in the ladies' room,
girls're not just adding some make-up
but also curling, some straightening,
the hair
for lunch!

After the gorgeous lunch had new energy to continue!

Not yet daffodils but colourful crocuses in the garden
