Nassau
Monday, January 18, 2010
After settling down went to Nassau by local bus - cost $1,25
Bahamian hair
- lady in the bus
In Bahamas the currency is Bahamian Dollar, which is equal to US Dollar and you can pay with both currencies and even mix them - very practical!
.
Walked around the town in a nice & warm weather.
Had a guided tour at the famous Balcony House
- authentically furnished 18th century home is
the oldest wooden residential structure in Nassau
- very interesting tour,
unfortunately couldn’t visit the upstairs
with a master bedroom and a guest room and bathrooms,
because of some renovation work.

Loads of cruise ships are coming to Nassau every day
