Piano Concert

Was invited by a friend to pianist Hiroko Ishimoto's concert
at Pintér Antik & Aukciósház
on Falk Miksa utca
on Friday evening
.
Pintér Antik is a huge complex,
the most part of it located in
a labyrinth like cellar
on different levels
.
Good idea having the piano a bit upper than the audience
- everyone had a perfect access to see the artist
.
Hiroko had chosen light pieces of classical music
with beautiful melodies:
Yoshimatsu: Spring, Summer, Autumn & Winter
Béla Bartók: 3 Folksongs & Romanian Folk Dances
Ferenc Liszt: Consoltion no:3 & Liebestraume no:3
.
Hiroko was telling shortly about the composers
in between the songs
- interesting & created a pleasant atmosphere
.
After a 15mins break
Hiroko played with Kyoko Mori
Nakata's The Four Seasons in Japan
for four hands
.
Hiroko continued to play
Ernő Dohnányi's Hungarian Christmas Song
&
Widmung (Dedication) by Liszt-Schuman
.
Very pleasant concert!
.
At Pintér's there's Christmas Art Auctions
Dec. 2. for Classical Furniture
Dec. 3. for Classical Artworks
Dec. 4. for Classical & Contemporary Paintings & Sculptures
.
