Pori Jazz 2009

Arrived to Pori on Wednesday evening,

had tickets for the Thursday's outdoor concert featuring Duffy

.

Heavy rain in the morning,

but gorgeous sunshine in the afternoon!

17.000 people had arrived to enjoy groovy music at Kirjurinluoto

- "Let the sunshine in " was a funny encore,
but the audience loved it!

Duffy stepped to the stage at 8pm

Duffy had learnt some Finnish:

"Kiitos!" (thank you!)

"Kaikki mukaan!" (comoon everybody!)

- "Mercy" ended the set,

"Distant Dreamer" was the encore

- fantastic concert!

- her voice was just like on the album - really good singer,

nice sympathic performer!

Wasn't hungry, but someones were,

so went to Trattoria Bucco,

which was, of course, fully booked,

but somehow got a possibility to wait

at the wine bar for a free table.

Lots of Finnish celebs there!

Sat next to Kaarina Kivilahti & her husband,

Leena Harkimo with her partner was there too.

Skipped the starter,

had only a main course:

grilled white fish

- very good but too much at least at that time of the night
