On Friday went to rue de Grenelle
to see the shoes of Christian Louboutin
.
Bought a pair of very basic black pumps
with not so high heels
- Carla Bruni has these too!

Christian Louboutin was apprentice to the great Roger Vivier and,
along with Manolo Blahnik,
is the darling of every Hollywood star.
His hallmark is the red-leather sole.
The individual models are also on display
in red alcoves in this boutique.

Had a visit to the huge Louis Vuitton store on Champs-Elysees
.
The Louis Vuitton flagship on the Champs-Elysees was opened in October 2005.
A genuine boutique de luxe,
which the architects Peter Marino and Eric Carlson conceived
with the theme "La Promenade" in mind.
Modern art, including works by
Olafur Eliasson and James Turrell
forms the splendid fashion and accessories.
One will never tire of a Louis Vuitton item,
the design is timeless,
the workmanship simply fantastic.

- bought also 2 different types of tea
- lovely place, great service!

Paris is just one of the places that has no better teas
or a larger selection than those available here.
The shop sells beside the teas and tea equipment,
candles with a hint of tea arome.
Eau de Sud by Annick Goutal
- got some samples of her beauty care collection
A delightful perfumery that reopened in 2005 after being renovated.
The leitmotif of all perfumes and creams is the rose,
it has also given its name to the delicate pink of the new boutique,
which has a very French and feminine feel.
A welcome feature is that the number of perfumes
and eau de toilettes are kept within reason;
there are around 20 -
with names such as
Eau de Ciel, Quel Amour...
.
